Using these proverbs are easy when you know their meaning of them. Let's start with the first proverb for today.
"Actions speak louder than words."
This means what you do is more significant than what you say.
การกระทำสำคัญกว่าคำพูด
"Beauty is is the eye of the beholder."
It means different people have different ideas about what is beautiful.
แต่ละคนมีความคิดเห็นหรือรสนิยมที่แตกต่างกันออกไปว่าอะไรสวยหรือไม่สวย
Beholder แปลว่า ผู้มอง
"A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush."
This expression means that it is better to have an advantage or opportunity that is certain than having one that is worth more but not so sure.
โอกาสอะไรที่มีอยู่ตอนนี้ ควรรับไว้ดีกว่าจะรอลาภที่แม้จะใหญ่กว่าแต่ไม่แน่นอนว่าจะได้
Bush แปลว่า พุ่มไม้
"Burn not your house to fright the mouse away."
This phrase means that we should not do something too drastic when it is not necessary.

This proverb means that people should not plan anything that depends on things you expect to happen in the future, and we should wait until it really happens first before making any decision.

Hatch แปลว่า ฟักตัว
"Don't wash your dirty Linen in public."
It means that we should not talk about our private family problems in public without any good consequences.
เราไม่ควรเอาความลับส่วนตัวมาเปิดเผยให้คนทั้งหลายรู้เรื่องโดยที่ตนเองไม่ได้ประโยชน์อะไรเลย
"Everything comes to him who waits."
It simply means that if we are patient enough we will get what we want.
ถ้าเรามีความอดทนรอมากพอเราก็จะได้สิ่งที่เราหวังไว้
Patient แปลว่า อดทน
"An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth."
What this expression tries to show is that if someone does something wrong, that person should be punished by having the same thing done to them.
บุคคลที่ทำไม่ดีกับบุคคลอื่นก็จะต้องไม่รับการกระทำแบบเดียวกันเป็นการตอบแทน
"A friend in need is a friend indeed."
This means that a true friend is the one who helps you when you are in need.

ถ้าไม่มีเมฆ เราก็คงไม่มีความสุขกับแสงอาทิตย์
This means that our lives have ups and downs, or the hardships. Having a bad experience helps us to be grateful and to enjoy the easy and happy times.

Appreciate แปลว่า เห็นคุณค่าหรือ ชื่นชม
Hardships แปลว่า ความทุกข์ยาก
"It is too late to lock the stable when the horse has already been stolen."
This refers to someone who tries to prevent something that has already happened or to act when it becomes too late.
คนที่พยายามจะป้องกันหรือทำอะไรบางอย่างในเวลาที่สายเกินไปแล้ว
Prevent แปลว่า ป้องกัน
"Let sleeping dogs lie."
It means that we should leave something alone if it might cause a problem.

"A liar is not believed when he tells the truth."
This means that once if people think that you are a liar, they will not believe anything you say.

Truth แปลว่า ความจริง
Liar แปลว่า คนโกหก
"Never put off till tomorrow what may be done today."
It emphasizes that we should not delay doing something if we can do it immediately.
เราไม่ควรเลื่อน หรือรั้งรองการทำอะไรออกไปถ้าเราสามารถทำมันได้ทันที
"One is never too old to learn."
This phrase implies that it is possible to learn new things, follow your desires at any age.
