ถ้าเราสังเกตเราจะเจอสุภาษิตหรือสำนวนต่างๆ ที่เป็น ภาษาอังกฤษในหนังสือบทความ ภาพยนตร์ หรือการพูดในโอกาสต่างๆ
A proverb is a short sentence or a phrase that contains wisdom, truth, morals, and traditional views. It usually presents itself in a metaphorical and memorable form.
Proverb หรือ สุภาษิต คือ ประโยคหรือวลีสั้น ที่แฝงไปด้วยความรู้ ความเป็นจริง คุณธรรม และมุมมองทางวัฒนธรรม ส่วนใหญ่แล้ว proverbs จะอยู่ในรูปของการเปรียบเปรยหรือที่เรารู้จักว่าการอุปมาอุปไมยและยังอยู่ในรูปที่จดจำได้ง่ายอีกด้วย
wisdom แปลว่า สติปัญญา
Metaphorical แปลว่า เกี่ยวกับการใช้คำอุปมา

หนทางไปสู่ความยิ่งใหญ่ ย่อมต้องฟันฝ่าอุปสรรค
rough roads แปลว่า ถนนที่ขรุขระ
Here, 'The rough roads' refers to obstacles in our journey to our success.

This literally means practice makes perfect.
การฝึกฝนอยู่เสมอทำให้เกิดความชำนาญ

It means that if we have the determination (the will) to do something, we can always find the path or method to do it.
