Attanā kurute lakkhiṁ,      alakkhiṁ kurutattanā,
Na hi lakkhiṁ alakkhiṁ vā,      añño aññassa kārako.

Fortune and Misfortune
By oneself is fortune made, misfortune is made by oneself,
No one is the maker of fortune and misfortune for another.
